Римская непозиционная система счисления (римская нумерация, в которой числа изображаются строчными и прописными буквами латинского алфавита) представляет числа следующим образом: 1 - I, 2 - II, 3 - III, 4 - IV, 5 - V, 6 - VI, 7 - VII, 8 - VIII, 9 - IX, 10 - Х, 20 - ХХ, 30 - ХХХ, 40 - XL, 50 - L, 100 - С, 500 - D, 1000 - М.
